Family Prayer Requests

Extended Family:
Lois Gault, mother of Fran Roland, has returned to Martin Boyd - W117.

Steve Bennett's mom, Tootsie, is in hospice care at Health Center at Standifer Place Room 151A: 2626 Walker Rd., 37421.

Katherine Jackson, wife of Phil Jackson, will have surgery April 13th at Memorial.

The Morgans request prayers for son & daughter-in law, Stephen and Tracy who are expecting twins, soon.

Melanie Davis, daughter of former members Charlie & Irma Shepherd, is recovering from extensive ear surgery. Cards may be sent to her at: CC-5, 15479-074, federal Medical Center, Carswell, PO box 27137, Fort worth, TX 76127.

 

 

Peace on Earth

The sooner the US wins the hearts of the Iraqi people, the sooner our boys can come home. To that end, the Hamilton YMCA is collecting toys and school supplies which will be distributed by our soldiers to Iraqi children. A list of needed items and a collection box are located outside Becky's office, but items may be delivered directly to the Hamilton Y.

A BIG THANK YOU: to Harley & Linda Weatherly for hosting our annual Easter Egg Hunt. Also, we appreciate all who helped with hiding the eggs, bringing food and supervising the children. We were delighted that several of our Hispanic children and their moms were able to attend. It was a great afternoon of fellowship and fun.    - Carol McNatt

Also, thank you to all who have put non-perishable food in the Food Bank Barrel in the Foyer. Several boxes of food were picked up Tuesday.

LADIES' TUESDAY JOY CLASS:
A salad luncheon at Martha Eichelberger's, Tuesday, April 5th, will be the last meeting for the season.

CARE GROUP MEETINGS: April 17th
              Wooleys' meet at their home at noon.
              McNatts' meet in the F. H. at noon.
              Walkers' and Morgans' TBA.

TIMOTHY/TABITHA & CHILDREN'S CHORUS:
Timothy/Tabitha Classes have a congregational devotional tentatively set for Sunday night, May 8th. Children's Chorus has a presentation after the devotional. If your child plans to participate in either program, he or she needs to be present on Sunday nights for practice.
